End User License Agreement

1.- Alterations to Font Software. You may not alter Font Software for the purpose of adding any functionality that such Font Software did not have when delivered to you by southype. If the Font Software contains embedding bits that indicate that the Font Software is only authorized for certain purposes, you may not change or alter the embedding bits.

2.- Transfer of the Font Software. You may not rent, lease, sublicense, give, lend, or further distribute the Font Software, or any copy thereof, except as expressly provided herein.

3.- Copies. You may make one back-up copy of Font Software for archival purposes only, and you shall retain exclusive custody and control over such copy.

5.- The license are for desktop (5 computers) use, for another use please contac us.

Terms Of Service:

  • Before buying a font, download the non commercial version an test it.
  • When buying a font, the number of prints to be made with this font is not limited.
  • All transactions are in US Dollars
  • SOUTHYPE DOES NOT WARRANT THE PERFORMANCE OR RESULTS YOU MAY OBTAIN BY USING THE FONT SOFTWARE.
  • Southype has more than 200 original Fonts, not all are in the e-commerce for direct purchase, the e-commerce is in permanent update.
  • Since the purchase is made the activation of the download link may take up to one business day.

Commercial and personal use definition:

Personal use

Personal use of the fonts on this site is defined as “that use that does not involve money, transactions or potential economic income”

Examples:
1. For students and teachers with educational purposes only.
2. cards to give to family and friends.

Commercial Use:

Fonts are software, so whoever is using the software needs to buy a license for it.

According to 18 USCS § 31, term “used for commercial purposes” means the carriage of persons or property for any fare, fee, rate, charge or other consideration, or directly or indirectly in connection with any business, or other undertaking intended for profit.

Otherwise, involving a transaction involves money, is considered commercial use.
